Itinerary

Day 1 – London - Osborne House - Ryde Beach - Sandown

After a warm welcome from your tour manager at your designated pick-up point, relax in the comfort of your coach as we begin our scenic journey towards either Southampton or Portsmouth.

Just a short sea crossing over the Solent, we arrive at England's largest island - the Isle of Wight. Known for its charming countryside and stunning coastline, the island offers a perfect blend of history, nature, and traditional seaside charm.

Osborne House -

Get an unforgettable glimpse into the private family life of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert at Osborne on the Isle of Wight. From sumptuous interiors and art collections inside, to a peaceful beach and marvellous gardens outside, a day out at Osborne has something for everyone. Explore Osborne's vast grounds, follow the interactive tree trail and find the unusual Swiss Cottage, where the royal children played, gardened, cooked and collected unusual objects in their own private museum.

Ryde Beach -

Our next stop will be Ryde Beach, which is a large, sandy beach on the northeast coast of the Isle of Wight, known for its long, flat expanse and proximity to Ryde town and pier. It's popular for a wide range of activities, from sunbathing and sandcastle building to water sports, and offers numerous facilities like eateries, amusements. Etc.

Check-In at Our Hotel - Sandown Beach

In the late evening, we check into our hotel located right on the beautiful Sandown Beach - one of the Isle of Wight's most celebrated sandy stretches. This bustling, family-friendly seaside resort features a traditional pier with amusements, crazy golf, and more. The Sandown Esplanade is lined with cafes, beach shops, and attractions, while the nearby High Street offers everything from artisan stores to pubs and restaurants.

Free Time to Explore Sandown

After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Explore Sandown Beach, stroll the pier, indulge in local treats, or shop for souvenirs. Soak in the lively yet relaxed atmosphere of this traditional English seaside town before making your way back to the hotel at your own pace.

DAY 2 – Pearl Factory - Needles - London

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we check out and begin the next leg of our island adventure.

Isle of Wight Pearl - Jewellery, Views & Refreshments

Our first visit is to the elegant Isle of Wight Pearl, located along the breathtaking Military Road on the island's southwest coast. Browse a stunning collection of handcrafted pearl jewellery, from timeless classics to contemporary designs. Learn about the origins of pearls, pearl grading, and jewellery-making in the informative displays. Relax at the Pearl Café, offering sweeping views of the English Channel - perfect for a quick tea or coffee with a view. A unique island experience blending craftsmanship, coastal beauty, and peaceful indulgence.

The Needles - A Coastal Icon

Next, we make our way to one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the UK - The Needles. Marvel at the multi-coloured sand cliffs of Alum Bay. See the famous Needles Rocks and Lighthouse, perched majestically in the turquoise waters of the Solent. Optional: Take the scenic chairlift (ticket not included) from the cliff top down to the beach - an unforgettable ride with panoramic views.

Don't forget your camera - this is one of the most photographed spots in the world for a reason!

After soaking in the views and seaside atmosphere at The Needles, we begin our journey back to take our ferry to Southampton or Portsmouth. Travel onward to your original drop-off point, reminiscing about the memories and friendships made.

As our Isle of Wight journey ends, we bid a fond farewell to the island and to the new friends made along the way. Thank you for joining us on this unforgettable escape.
